Internregi is an execution organization responsible for the operation and maintenance of large parts of municipal public areas and is part of the Operations and Management unit. The department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of, for example, Gävle's City Park, Boulognerskogen. At Internregi, there are employees who work with park and street environments, such as tree care, road signs, park furniture, winter operations, and the establishment of smaller projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Become part of our team and help make Gävle even more beautiful. For the spring and summer season of 2026, we are looking for four park workers. The positions involve various tasks within the operation and maintenance of the municipality's public outdoor environments.

As a park worker, you play an important role in caring for and developing the city's parks, green areas, and streets. The work is varied and seasonal, where you will, among other things, plant and care for summer flowers, maintain park land, nature parks, and playgrounds, as well as establish lawns, flower beds, and other green areas. In addition, other tasks may occur to ensure that Gävle always presents itself in the best light.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education in the field of land, park, and garden maintenance or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.

You have recent work experience in land, park, and gardening tasks and hold a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.

It is advantageous for the position if you also have work on roads 1 & 2, as well as wheel loader certification, brush cutter certification RA, and chainsaw certification.

In your work, you see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best possible way. You collaborate well and have an unpretentious approach in cooperation with others.

You have the ability to find alternative solutions to arising problems, adapt to different situations, and can change your perspective and approach when needed. You see opportunities in changes.
